Ocean numerical simulation and analysis: Develop the numerical forecasting model and preventing decision making system for ocean disaster and maritime accident (storm surge; huge wave; harmful algal bloom). The physical phenomena such as the interaction between land and ocean, ocean circulation, upwelling, mesoscale vortex, internal waves, ocean fronts and so on, would be studied based on observation and numerical simulation. The response of the marine ecological environment to the extreme weather would also been studied.
